HDTV Resolution Guide
Since no body will buy the SDTV any more I will not write about it. Then let's do the HDTV which now most people will buy and enjoy it as their center of entertainment in their home.
When you go to the store and look the TV set, you should not just see the picture. You also need to check the resolution of the set. The store usually wrote it on the brochure or note beside the TV. If you did not find it then you need to check the user manual book that come with the set or ask the sales person and hope he knows the correct answer.
The resolution it self means the amount of pixels exist on the screen. These are the pixels that mostly you find it on the LCD TV resolution:
- 1280x768 = 720p
- 1360x768 = 720p
- 1440x900 = 720p
- 1920x1080 = 1080p
- 1920x1200 = 1080p
These are the Plasma TV resolution:
- 1366X768 = 720p
- 1920x1080 = 1080p
The best resolution to buy a new TV is 1080p, but usually the price of the TV is more expensive compare to just 720p or 1080i compatible. Then now the question is which one I need to get if I want to buy TV. If you wanted the best picture quality then you choose the 1080p But if you think I just want to see HDTV channels and you are on the tight budget then your choice is the 720p resolution. Also you need to remember most of the 720p resolution will compatible with 1080i resolution. Another thing that you need to know that no Cable or Satellite TV has broadcast 1080p signal yet. The only 1080p video signal comes from either Blu-Ray DVD, Xbox360, or Playstation 3.
In conclusion, I mostly suggest to the customer if they wanted to buy a new TV set, to make sure the budget first. If they could go more on budget, then they will have a good quality TV with a nice picture. If they did not have it, of course they still could enjoy their a new TV because many people cannot see the different between 720p and 1080 p resolutions when they just watch the news and regular HD channel. Even some channels on HD Cable or Satellite are broadcast in just 720p resolution such as ESPN1, ESPN2, etc. So don't be discourage id you cannot buy the 1080p TV, Just enjoy your 720p because the picture is also great as long as you can calibrated correctly.

Guide To Choose LCD TV
Because of these questions, I am trying to give you simple but excellent idea to guide your choise especially to choose a good LCD TV.
- Check your budget - make sure you have enough money to pay the set that you want to buy. There are Three different categories on LCD TV, the low end, Mid end and High end.
- Go to the stores to check the prices and TV it self. Before you go home, you should have at least 3 TVs that you like it. Write down the model number, the manufature and the price. You should choose on the same size of TV and the same type of TV.
- Open your computer and browse over the internet to see the review of those TVs and make sure you choose the one that has better review.
- Check with the manufacture and ask them about the local authorized service.
- So, now you are ready to buy the TV that you dream of and fit your budget. Once you go to the store you pick the one that you had pick and review already. Bring it home and you will be the happiest person in the world.
As long as you keep this in mind you will be safe from the worse of the worse ever created on your life.
Note: The resolution is very optional For HDTVs are 720P and 1080P. it is all depand on your budget. The best resolution is the 1080P but it also come with the price. The respond time is also optional for LCD TV are 8ms, 5ms, 4ms and 2ms. The fastest respons time is the best because it is better for picture that has a lot fast movement. It also come with the price. The technology and future on the set is also optional. More technology cram on the one set sometimes can be a waste of money but it also come with the price.

LCD TV Or Plasma TV
Then, before you choose one of them, first of all you should know the technology behind those two TVs. In short explanations LCD is a Liquid Crystal Display TV. where the Panel Display is fill with some kind of Liquid. You may see by touching it on the screen. The plasma TV is different from LCD because inside the screen is a high compress gas because of this the Plasma TV using a glass as a screen instead of plastic like on the LCD. So for detail information you may click this Link LCD and Plasma Display
Therefore, every body should not be confuse between Plasma and LCD TV now because they are from very different display panels.
The picture here is the example of LCD TV. Other thing about LCD TV is usually a light weight TV, less consumption on energy, very vivid color, also more variety of size from very small to very big screen, easy to maintain and at last but not the least is the price also come in different stages, low end, mid end and High end. For example if you buy on certain store it seem like cheaper than other store but if you found out you might buy the low end product. But no one will care because you want to buy LCD TV that fit in your budget.
The picture here is the example of Plasma TV. If you want to watch TV on wide angel than Plasma TV is your best choice. Perfect for the living room where people gather around the TV watching their favorite show. However Plasma TV is heavy and not a good choice if you have a tight budget on electricity because Plasma use more energy than LCD. Also If you were living on high altitude ground such as on the mountain area, you might better skip Plasma TV as your first choice. The picture and color on Plasma TV is among one of the best on digital TV products, but please remember for not to pause the still picture for certain period of time because It might cause image burn on the screen and if this happened you might consider buy a new TV set because the manufacture or extended warranty companies would not cover the Image Burn Problem.

Educations
I spent my early education at the Catholic School. I did not really like it but that was one of the best schools in Malang. But who wanted to go to school with so much stress on the head. Home works were almost everyday and no time for play. So I spend my childhood inside the house studying.
My middle school was about freedom of learning. Less homework and more play. Sometimes I regretted about it because I could not achieve my potential but I still proud to my self and the school. During this time I was learning to be a leader in the class also in the school. I was the president of the student council.
Because I love science and math, I chose Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (Vocational High School). This school was build by the government to educate student who like to go to work force right after high school or the idea is to make the teenagers ready to work with a certain skill after graduated from the school. I specially liked electronics because electronics have many different sectors. From electronics major we could continue become engineer in many ways. The other thing that I chose electronics was because there were Computer lessons from basic to advance levels.
So, after graduated from SMK, I continued my education in United Stated. Brigham Young University Hawaii was my choice. That time BYUH had a sponsor program for foreign student especially from Asia and Polynesia. Then I applied for the program. A year later, I got accepted and five years later I was graduated with Bachelor Degree of Science in information System. I was probably the happiest person because I could make my Family proud.
